And so begins a new chapter of my life…
And so begins a new chapter of my life…
HOME | It’s been just about a month since I returned home from France. I have mixed feelings about being home and more than anything, I miss living in France. I’m excited about where my life is going, but I know that I’ll jump at the next chance I get to move back. Each sejour in France has brought me closer to Paris, so here’s hoping.
Déménaging out of my apartment. This time around I feel different about going home. Four weeks ago I couldn’t wait to be home and after coming home (to Rouen) from my vacation, everything changed. As much as I miss my family and my friends, I don’t want to leave. Everything has changed. Everything.
Just came home from my European Adventure through France and Italy. Naomi came out for a visit and we toured parts of France [Paris, Lyon and Nice] and most of the bigger cities in Italy [Rome, Florence, Pisa, Cinque Terre and Venice]. This photo was taken in the beautiful Cinque Terre.
One more week of work left and I’m done! I’m very excited that the time has finally come, but some moments this week will be bittersweet.
I spent my Wednesday in Etretat with Molly and Jennifer. The weather was absolutely perfect and the scenery was beautiful.
Today a group of us took a trip to Giverny to visit Monet’s Garden. Giverny is cute and quaint (minus all of the tourists). Most of us left early and didn’t make it to the actual garden, but we got to walk around various gardens that were in full bloom. I think France may love tulips more than I do.
Spring is finally here in Rouen! Spring = Allergies!
I took a train into Paris last Saturday. Spent an amazing day with an amazing person. Took many an escalator up to my favorite 360° view of Paris. An €8 jar of Claussen’s Kosher Dill Pickles was purchased at La Grande Epicerie de Paris. Spent some time in line at LADURÉE. (Very few things, in my opinion, are worth waiting in line for; this is one of them.) Spent some time in the Maison Européenne de la Photographie to see the Henri Huet exhibition. It might have been the best day I’ve ever had in Paris.
